Ideal stelrad takes to the roads
Ideal Stelrad’s ‘Installer Connect’ training vans are taking to the roads this spring to keep installers up-to-date with the latest developments and technical advancements in the heating industry.
The company is hosting 130 events at Merchant counters across the UK up until the end of June 2007, giving installers the chance to learn new skills or refresh their existing knowledge on Ideal’s market leading range of HE boilers and Stelrad’s designer and panel radiators.
Run by an expert training team, the ‘Installer Connect’ training vans contain Ideal’s icos, isar, excel, mini and classic HE boilers, along with a seating area for demonstrations and a 32” plasma TV for presentations.
Tom Anderton, Ideal Stelrad’s Installer Connect marketing manager, said: The aim is to reach as many installers as possible to provide them with all the hands-on experience they will need for carry out their jobs with confidence on a day-to-day basis. It also provides them the opportunity to ask any questions they might have on installation, commissioning, servicing and fault finding.
The training van tour is just one element of Ideal Stelrad’s commitment to add value to its service offering for installers through its new relationship scheme – Installer Connect. The scheme, which was launched last year, has been specifically designed to reward those fitting the company’s extensive range of domestic and commercial boilers and designer and panel radiators. Along with a host of training initiatives that installers can take advantage of, they can also can earn points on purchases and benefit from a variety of promotions.
