Visitors to this year’s Chelsea PHEX will have the opportunity to see Ideal Stelrad’s latest range of innovative heating products, including the Ideal Esprit HE combination boiler, Stelrad Softline radiator and the company’s recently launched Ideal Solar range.

The Ideal Esprit HE is the latest innovation from Ideal and has been specifically designed to be easy to site, install and service and cost competitive for independent installer. SEDBUK A rated, the Ideal Esprit features some of Ideal’s tried and tested HE technology and is available in tree different outputs - 24, 30 & 35kW.

Ideal Stelrad’s latest addition to its market leading range of panel radiators is the Stelrad Softline, which bridges the gap between standard radiators and more exclusive designer radiators. Stelrad Softline gains its name from the elegant curved top grille and side panels, which softens the overall design of the radiator and adds a new dimension to any room.

Ideal’s solar panels have been launched to further extend the company’s comprehensive product offering. Ideal Solar complements an existing hot water storage system, with a typical solar system providing around 50%-60% of an average household’s domestic hot water over a year. The solar collectors feature a selective coating to enhance energy absorption, achieving 95% efficiency levels. Available in three packs to suit most applications, each Ideal Solar pack includes flat plate collectors (one for small properties, two for average households and three for larger properties), roof fixing brackets and rails, an expansion vessel with hose and bracket, controller, pump station and 20 litres of solar fluid.

To help installers get up to speed, Ideal can also provide a two-day dedicated solar course at its training centre in Hull, where installers can become accredited members of the Solar Trade Association following successful completion. To complement this, information on Ideal Solar can be found on the company’s Installer Connect Training Vans, which are touring merchant trade counters throughout the UK.
